At last! we got there! Having been postponed since 2020, we were finally able to join nearly 4,000 other young people and their youth leaders for Limitless 2022 at Stafford Showground from 6-10th August. Breathe partnered with St Luke’s Church, Tutshill, and Forest Community Church, Cinderford, to take 12 young people aged 11-15 years for a great experience. We had an amazing team of volunteers – 2 caterers, 4 drivers and 5 leaders who helped make the trip possible.
The young people attended morning and evening celebrations with sung worship and great teaching to support them in their Christian Faith. In the afternoon a whole range of activities were on offer including crafts, sport, inflatables and special events, such as a colour party, as well as seminars.
At 9.30pm each night ‘After Hours’ included a silent disco, open mic events and cinema.
The young people helped to ensure each day ran smoothly by taking their turns with chores such as washing up, clearing away rubbish and making sure we had sufficient water.
